Villain of the Day, Episode III

Wander (C0splay)

We wander through our lives with our quest for companion
When they breathe their last sigh, what’s left is a canyon
Empty.  So no surprise when I absconded with Emon’s weapon
Set my horse with blinded eyes toward forbidden lands, and steppin’

Across boundaries with underhanded deals and mistrust
Great task, vast grasp, hard ask, fast heels and dust
Grit teeth and gallop toward the cold and incautious
For revival of the bridal I’ll slaughter every colossus

A beautiful beast of spectacle, respectful in silence
They seem so peaceful shame to bring their awesome end with my violence
And as idolatry does crumble and my goal becomes nearer
The weight of massive genocide and all its tolls becomes clearer

Fear for breathing without her spurs me toward the finish
Dead horse and black coarse through me, pale and thinnish
Upon return I learn the urn that bound the broker is broken
Cut down and drown in darkness without a love ever spoken

I've climbed a long way, but it's only given me futher to fall
And whether for fame or fortune, I'm risking it all
Hoping that might will make the right moves, but I've lost my way
Sometimes the villain you see now was once the heroes of yesterday

Macbeth (MC-3PO)

I'm the wreckin' machine; so foul and fair a day I have not seen
Saw the hellions in rebellion but we cut it off clean
And it's not sane that I retain domain at end of campaign
The Adonis of Glamis and now in Cawdor the Thane?

But oratorical oracles foretell greatness of fate
And while I'm down to hold the crown out my fair lady can't wait
My protests pale, she drives the nail in when she goes for my scrote
So she prevails and I assail my King and open his throat

His heirs are scared, no longer there, I place the blame on their heads
Amidst corruption my assumption makes me ruler instead
Brutally led; every challenger shall rival in vain
Is the refrain, lest Birnam Wood come to Dunsinane

So bring the pain, open war, I meet your force with scorn
At break of morn, mortal only to a warrior not of woman born
But in the fog of war my death knell, ripped early from womb
Takes off my head, and now a dead despot lies in his tomb

I've climbed a long way, but it's only given me futher to fall
And whether for fame or fortune, I'm risking it all
Hoping that might will make the right moves, but I've lost my way
Sometimes the villain you see now was once the heroes of yesterday

Magneto (Adam WarRock)

From an asteroid I sit, each metal bar I twist
From the gates of Auschwitz with this number burned in my wrist
I've seen what power does; it corrupts absolutely, don't it?
So I just sit quiet and do my best to focus

For the good of all mutantkind when I do all that dirt and grime
For the brothers and sisters who's involved in this cause of mine
It's on my mind all the time for those who got that x-gene
Homo Superior; damn humanity (Know what I mean?)

Charles; he speaks of peace and understanding (I don't understand it)
What's a couple of lives lost in this panic?
In the law of the planet: big fish eat little fish
Bring that helicopter crashing down with a flick of my wrist

Magnus, the Master of Magnetism
Teaching gifted children that the world hates them for the things within 'em
So I taught how to fight back and kill if they have to
Even from within this prison cell made of glass, fool!

I've climbed a long way, but it's only given me futher to fall
And whether for fame or fortune, I'm risking it all
Hoping that might will make the right moves, but I've lost my way
Sometimes the villain you see now was once the heroes of yesterday
